And that price is approaching $20K. I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a Rabbit GTI, black with red interior,  like I had in high school and college. If they’re not beaters they’re quite pricy. Although this one has the wrong color inside and out it’s quite nice. But the price? I didn’t realize they were getting up there like this...

The tricky part is the interior. Lots of cheap, color-matched plastic that doesn't match (if the pieces are still there) and that seat cloth - it just wouldn't be right if it didn't have these exact stripes. I love those stripes...
